Prime Minister Announces Toll-Free Journey for Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2023
The Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, recently announced that all classes of vehicles will enjoy toll-free journeys on four days during the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2023. This initiative will involve 33 highways, including the PLUS Highway, and will take place from April 19 to 21, and on April 24.
This initiative is part of the government’s efforts to make travelling more accessible to Malaysians who wish to celebrate with their families during Hari Raya. All vehicles can enjoy a toll-free journey on all 33 highways across Malaysia, making it easier for people to travel back to their hometowns and visit family members.
The PLUS Highway, in particular, is one of the major highways in Malaysia connecting many states such as Johor, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.
